Olympiacos launched Greece’s first 3v3 tournament

Last weekend marked a special milestone for Greek football: the first-ever 3v3 tournament in Greece, hosted by Olympiacos Soccer School in Lamia.

Over 100 kids born in 2015, 2016, and 2017 took part — creating smiles, endless excitement, and unforgettable memories. Their families were just as thrilled, watching the next generation of players grow through the most engaging format in the game.

This historic event was made possible with 5 AirPitch inflatable football pitches and 10 BazookaGoals, creating the perfect stage for nonstop action. Olympiacos is the first club in Greece to embrace 3v3, leading the way in a season where the club has already celebrated huge successes: UEFA Youth Champions 2024, UEFA Conference League Champions 2024, and rising stars like Mouzakitis and Kostoulas stepping onto the big stage.

To ensure everything runs to the highest standard, Mike Melvin, founder of 3v3UK, travelled to Greece to educate coaches on the official 3v3 rules. The result? A smooth, professional, and player-centered event that reflects the future of football.
